This catalogue, published in conjunction with Terrell James’s solo exhibition Second Sight in 2021, showcases the paintings’ organic and often ethereal forms inspired by the landscape of her native Texas and her experience of sacred sites in the Western United States. The catalogue also features striking close-up shots of Terrain, a 100ft drawing that was hung synchronously at Cadogan’s exhibition space in Hampshire, as well as an insightful visual analysis of the works by Archie Squire that brings to light the geographic and temporal influences of the Texan landscape.
