"Pearlescent Bindu" reflects Theo Pinto's ongoing interest in painting not only what we see, but also what we feel. This show centers around the "bindu", a symbol found in Vedic philosophy that represents the starting point of creation, stillness, and inner focus. Pinto's new exhibition is now on view at Cadogan Solo, Milan, until July 26.

His large oil paintings are made slowly, layer after layer, like a kind of meditation. Nothing here is fixed: the colours change depending on the light and reveal different feelings and emotions.

As the artist states "In a world that’s often loud and fast, I hope my paintings offers a moment of pause, reflection and reconnection-with the sky, with yourself, with something greater".
