INSIGHTS THROUGH TISSUE PAPER - VISIT TO KIM BARTELT'S STUDIO

Geometric shapes made of tissue paper arranged on canvases, the works of the artist Kim Bartelt tell about the many facets of life. The artist 'paints' with tissue paper. She selects the trimmed pieces of paper that are often left over from previous works and recomposes them with other 'found' shapes. Due to their color and shape, the pictures have a calming and meditative effect, at the same time they contain an exciting energy, which is underlined by the sometimes archaic shapes. Impressive pictures are created in her studio in the Berlin district of Wedding. We visited you and got a glimpse through tissue paper.
