Vattendroppar, exhibition by Andreas Diaz Andersson
From 9 April to 11 May 2024 the Cadogan Gallery in Milan (via Bramante 5) hosts the exhibition Vattendroppar , a solo exhibition by the Swedish-Mexican artist Andreas Diaz Andersson .
Vattendroppar , which means water drops in Swedish , presents a new series of works in which concentric circles form the main subject. The shapes, made with small straight lines sewn onto the raw canvas, are regular but at the same time naturalistic, emulating the waves that form when you drop something into water. In doing so, Diaz Andersson's works are characterized by an ambivalent nature that combines a fluid and naturalistic visual language with a geometric and ordered formalism .
The inauguration is scheduled for 6.00 pm on Tuesday 9 April. The exhibition can then be visited until Saturday 11 May during the following opening hours : 11.00-19.00 from Tuesday to Friday; 11.00-17.30 Saturday. For info 02 89690152 .
