A palace of aesthetes with an incredible collection of contemporary art in Puglia
It is a setting of silent and striking beauty of which only Italy has the secret. In the heart of Puglia , in the small town of Ceglie Messapica, nestles a noble palace from the 15th century. Formerly a family home, the building is today the property of a couple wishing to revive its soul of yesteryear. Commissioned to create a unique art collection, curator Bianca d'Ippolito has presented a poetic ensemble at the crossroads of art and craftsmanship. An architect by training, the Italian esthete passed through Munich, London and New York, where she was in charge of the collections of the multidisciplinary artist Vito Acconci. Now sailing between Milan and Paris, she finds, for the Genius Loci association , exceptional places open to the public for exhibitions and also organizes unique visits to galleries in the French capital.
