Richard Hearns and painting that pursues a chromatic idyll

The aspiration to enrich the life of the observer. And the satisfaction of having lived a year "with the right time to devote myself to creativity".

Richard Hearns was born in Beirut and raised in Dublin. His paintings and his fascination for color document the search for an idyll always supported by a profound spiritual sensitivity.

What this young artist does is a layered meditation in observational painting, which often takes its cue from nature and rural life. It could communicate the search for a paradise in connection between the balance of external spaces and internal stillness. Yet the paintings of the Lebanese-born creative, Irish by adoption, are always a discovery in the making.
