This catalogue was published in conjunction with a solo exhibition by Elise Ansel in 2015 of works that abstract Old Master paintings by the likes of Titian and Caravaggio. The catalogue features a statement by author and journalist Lara Santoro, and studio shots which provide an insight into Ansel’s artistic process in which she translates the originals and explodes them onto the canvas as her own.
