We are pleased to announce “Frequencies”, a presentation of artworks by Betsy Eby now on view at Cadogan Solo, the street-view window located just outside of our Milan Gallery.

"My interest lies in the interconnectedness found within the natural world as interpreted through audio and visual soundscapes. As a painter and musician, I rely on my natural gifts of mimeticism, hyperosmia and misophonia to interpret the elements I hear and see within organic systems. This is my creative language, interpreting the music inherent within this vast, expansive organism of which we are apart.

Continuing the explorations of Solfeggio Frequencies and their healing affects, these paintings, deeply rooted in material and process, are acts of Kintsugi, the intention of beautiful repair.  The colorfields are the universe and the brushwork, our lives and their traces within that universe, looping, intersecting, influenced and searching for completion. There is no end to the strand and no end to their interplay.

Finding order from chaos, the paintings are offerings of hope. Within personal nervous systems to planetary and celestial, our actions result in repair or ruin. Every intersection is a decision."
